Troops Eliminate 2 Bandits, Recover Firearms
Troops of Operation LAFIYAN JAMA’A have eliminated two armed bandits and recovered weapons during a successful ambush operation in the Nteng general area of Qua’an Pan Local Government Area, Plateau State, PRNigeria learnt.
Military sources disclosed that the operation was carried out following credible intelligence on the movement of suspected bandits within the vicinity.

The troops reportedly staged a tactical ambush along the suspected route at approximately 7:34 p.m. on Tuesday, leading to the interception and neutralisation of two armed bandits.
During the operation, troops recovered one AK-47 rifle, a magazine, and 24 rounds of 7.62mm (special) ammunition from the scene.
The recovered items have been taken into custody for further investigation, while intensified security operations are ongoing to maintain peace and deter further criminal activity in the area.
