Nigerian Army College Introduces Strategic Communication and Artificial Intelligence Programmes for 2025/2026 Session

The Nigerian Army College of Environmental Science and Technology (NACEST), Makurdi, has officially commenced admissions for the 2025/2026 academic session, unveiling an expanded curriculum that includes cutting-edge courses in Strategic Communication, Journalism, and Artificial Intelligence.

Renowned for its disciplined academic structure, NACEST offers a unique learning environment that guarantees graduation within stipulated timelines—free from strikes or disruptions. The institution also boasts well-equipped laboratories, secure campus facilities, and comfortable accommodation for all students.

According to PRNigeria findings, candidates who selected NACEST as their first-choice institution are encouraged to regularly monitor their admission status via the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) portal. Prospective students who wish to enroll but have not yet selected NACEST must apply for a change of institution on the JAMB platform, choosing “NIGERIAN ARMY COLLEGE OF ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY MAKURDI” as their new first choice along with their desired programme.

NACEST currently offers the National Diploma (ND) in Mass Communication, and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes in the following disciplines:

Strategic Communication

Journalism

Artificial Intelligence

Accountancy

Banking and Finance

Business Administration and Management

Application Process for HND Programmes

Applicants for HND programmes are to obtain admission forms directly from the College Registry. Submission must include the completed application form, evidence of one-year Industrial Training (IT), JAMB Admission Letter, O’Level results, and ND result.

The total application fee is ₦10,000, broken down as follows:

Admission Form: ₦3,000

Portal Access Fee: ₦5,000

Screening Fee: ₦2,000
