The operation, according to Zagazola Makama, was carried out on Wednesday, after which the victims were taken to the Tor-Donga Outstation under the Katsina-Ala Division, where they were formally received by security officials.
According to reports, Michael was kidnapped on July 19, Apesughu on July 22, and Saidu on July 14. All three were abducted at different points along the Benue–Taraba border corridor and held in a remote, forested area by their captors.
The victims recounted that they were subjected to harsh conditions in captivity deep within the bush. Following their rescue, they were transported to the General Hospital in Katsina-Ala, where they are currently receiving medical attention and undergoing debriefing by security personnel.
Authorities say efforts are ongoing to apprehend the kidnappers and dismantle their hideouts in the region.
