Alhaji Abdulmalik, a retired Assistant Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), stated that the union has closely observed Commissioner Jimoh’s “exemplary, diligent, and delightful manner” in leading the Lagos State Command’s efforts against crime and criminality. He emphasized the IEDPU’s profound impression with Jimoh’s performance, asserting that he has fully justified his role as the chief crime fighter for Nigeria’s commercial and entertainment hub.

The IEDPU President, accompanied by the union’s Chief Scribe, Abubakar Imam, and DCI Ayuba Baba of the Lagos State Command of the Nigeria Immigration Service, highlighted Commissioner Jimoh’s conduct as a positive reflection on the Ilorin Emirate community. Abdulmalik noted that Jimoh has become a “shining role-model” for IEDPU members and Nigerians at large, particularly for upcoming generations. He concluded by thanking the Commissioner for his contributions and wishing him a peaceful and successful career.

In response, Commissioner Jimoh expressed his gratitude for the visit, stating he felt “highly honored and celebrated.” He attributed his success to the loyalty and cooperation of his officers and men, particularly his management team. Jimoh also pledged to continue being a good ambassador for the Ilorin Emirate community.

The visit culminated in Alhaji Abdulmalik presenting Commissioner Jimoh with a formal letter of commendation and a commemorative frame.
