Troops Eliminate Terrorists, Disrupt Logistics Supply in Borno
Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have neutralised two Boko Haram terrorists and recovered a cache of logistics items during a successful ambush operation in Bula Daburu village, located in the Bama Local Government Area of Borno State.
The operation, conducted at about 6:00 p.m. on Monday, was part of Operation Desert Sanity IV, a renewed military offensive aimed at dismantling terrorist supply chains and disrupting their freedom of movement across the North East.
Military intelligence sources confirmed that troops had laid an ambush at a known Boko Haram crossing point when they made contact with a group of suspected terrorist logistics couriers. A brief but intense firefight ensued, during which two insurgents were neutralised. Several others reportedly fled the scene with gunshot injuries.
