Lagos NIPR Elects New Executives as Ayetutu Emerges Chairman
The Lagos State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has elected new executives to steer the affairs of the body for the next two years.
The election was conducted on Thursday during the Institute’s 2025 Annual General Meeting, held at the Institute of International Relations, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Those elected include; Chairman: Samuel Ayetutu, Vice Chairman: Eniola Mayowa, Secretary: Samuel Adeyemi, Assistant Secretary: Rita Ali-Nock, Public Relations Officer: Oguchukwu Okeke, Financial Secretary: Bassey Nta, Treasurer: Olabamiji Adeleye, Welfare Officer: Funmilola Akintola, and Ex-Officio (Internal Auditors): Segun McMedal and Comfort Nwankwo
The oath of office was administered by the NIPR Registrar, Uzoma Onyegbadue.
In his inaugural address, Ayetutu expressed gratitude to members for entrusting him with the leadership of the chapter. He pledged to foster unity among members and raise the chapter’s public profile.
“When I talk about uniting the chapter, I am referring to bringing together the various sections within Lagos NIPR to work collectively for its progress. We also want to ensure that, by the end of our two-year tenure, Lagos NIPR will have become a household name,” he said.
