Military Recover Firearms in Borno Intelligence-Led Operation
Troops of Operation Hadin Kai, in collaboration with the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), have recovered three AK-47 rifles and five magazines during an intelligence-driven operation along the Mafa border corridor in Borno State.

The operation was conducted as a follow-up to an earlier clash with terrorists on August 7, which had resulted in the neutralisation of several insurgents. The latest effort led to the discovery and recovery of the arms cache believed to belong to the fleeing terrorists.
Military sources confirmed that the sustained operations in the area were yielding significant results in dislodging remnants of terrorist groups and denying them access to weapons.
The Theatre Command commended the troops and CJTF for the successful recovery and urged them to maintain the momentum of intelligence-led offensives across the North-East.
