Police Partner Experts on Internal Security as IG Inspects Intelligence Facilities in Abuja
The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, has reaffirmed the Nigeria Police Force’s commitment to intelligence-led policing as a strategic tool for strengthening internal security.
On Thursday, the IGP inspected state-of-the-art intelligence installations at Idu Community in Abuja as part of ongoing engagements with indigenous security experts, particularly EIB STRATOC, a Nigerian security solutions provider.

Accompanied by senior officers including DIG Ben Nebeolisa Okolo (Force Intelligence Department), DIG Adebowale Williams (ICT), AIG Adeleke Taiwo (Operations), and CP Felix Obe (Federal Operations), the IGP stressed that intelligence gathering remains the bedrock of effective policing in the 21st century.
He noted that under his leadership, the Force will continue to harness technology, innovation, and expertise—both local and foreign—to proactively address emerging security threats.
“The partnership with indigenous security experts will not only strengthen our operational capabilities but also deepen community trust and synergy with key stakeholders in the security sector,” Egbetokun said.
The IGP also praised the expertise of EIB STRATOC and urged other security professionals, as well as Nigerians, to collaborate with the Police and other agencies in deploying technology-driven intelligence solutions to enhance national security.
