The Defence Industries Corporation of Nigeria (DICON) has signed a strategic partnership with UK-based dmg Events to co-host the first-ever International Defence Exhibition in Lagos, AFRIDEX 2026. AFRIDEX 2026 is set to become Africa’s premier defence and security platform, bringing together global leaders, innovators, and policymakers to foster collaboration, strategic partnerships, and innovation in the continent’s defence sector.

The exhibition will feature a wide range of defence products and services, including armoured vehicles, aircraft, naval vessels, weapons, ammunition, and drones. It will provide opportunities for both international and African defence manufacturers to display capabilities, exchange knowledge, and explore partnerships that can drive the continent’s defence development.

Designed to inspire innovation and collaboration, AFRIDEX 2026 will offer strategic insights, practical tools, and platforms for transforming ideas into actionable solutions. The event is also expected to contribute to Africa’s economic growth by enhancing knowledge sharing, technology transfer, and the continent’s overall defence reputation.
