IG Deploys FPRO Adejobi to Delta State Command
The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D., NPM, has approved the posting of the Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), DCP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, mnipr, mipra, fCAI, as the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the Department of Operations, Delta State Command.
According to a statement from the Force Headquarters on Wednesday, the redeployment reflects the confidence of the police leadership in Adejobi’s wealth of experience, professionalism, and proven capacity to strengthen operational strategies in the command.

The IGP commended Adejobi for his outstanding service as the image-maker of the Nigeria Police Force, describing his tenure as one marked by professionalism, dedication, and remarkable contributions to enhancing the Force’s communication strategies.
“DCP Adejobi has set a high standard in police public relations and has significantly improved the image of the Force. We are confident that he will bring the same commitment and excellence to his new assignment in Delta State,” the statement quoted the IGP as saying.
Meanwhile, the Force Headquarters disclosed that arrangements are being finalized for the appointment of a new Force Public Relations Officer.
