Military Kills 6 Terrorists, Lose 3 Soldiers in Zamfara Ambush
Troops of Operation FANSAN YANMA have neutralised six terrorists in Zamfara State, though three soldiers sadly lost their lives during an ambush by insurgents, PRNigeria learnt.

Military sources told Zagazola Makama that the incident occurred in Bungudu Local Government Area when troops of Forward Operating Base (FOB) Lilo came under heavy fire while attempting to extricate a vehicle that had become bogged down at Fegin Rama.
Reinforcement troops deployed to the scene were also ambushed, sparking a fierce exchange of gunfire with the terrorists.
According to the sources, the troops successfully overpowered the attackers, killing six of them and forcing others to flee. However, three soldiers paid the supreme price in the encounter.
The operation underscores the intensity of ongoing military campaigns in Zamfara aimed at dismantling terrorist hideouts and halting attacks against local communities.
