Troops Neutralize Two Notorious Bandits in Katsina Forest
Troops of Operation FANSAN YANMA have eliminated two notorious bandits during a clearance operation in Dutsen Ma Local Government Area of Katsina State.

The bandits, identified as Iliya and Dan Yahaya of Banga, were said to be responsible for several attacks and criminal operations in Rafi Forest, Wonaka, and parts of Gusau Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
According to security sources, the duo were key commanders in the gang led by a wanted kingpin, Alhaji Ummaru Dan Najeriya.
The operation, sources added, was conducted following credible intelligence on the movement of the criminals. Troops have also intensified patrols and surveillance in the surrounding areas to prevent a resurgence of bandit activities.
