Troops Eliminate Four Armed Robbers, Recover Weapons on Jos–Bauchi Highway
Troops on routine patrol have neutralised four suspected armed robbers in a gun battle along the Jos–Bauchi highway, recovering arms and ammunition from the criminals, PRNigeria learnt.
According to security sources, the operation was launched following credible intelligence about the presence of a robbery gang terrorising commuters on the busy route.

According to Zagazola, the troops were said to have swiftly mobilised to the scene, where they engaged the suspects in a fierce exchange of gunfire.
“In the shootout, four of the armed robbers were neutralised while assorted arms and ammunition were recovered from them,” the source disclosed.
The source added that the quick intervention of the soldiers has restored calm and boosted the confidence of road users along the Jos–Bauchi axis.
