Professor Samaila Mande Appointed President of Academy of Management Nigeria

Professor Samaila Mande, a distinguished scholar from the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), has been unanimously elected as the new President of the Academy of Management Nigeria. The election took place at the organization’s 19th Annual General Meeting held at Southern Delta University in Ozoro.

The Academy of Management Nigeria is recognized as the country’s leading body for scholars and intellectuals in management-related fields. Mande’s appointment is a testament to his extensive experience and contributions to the field of management.

A renowned expert in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing Communication and Entrepreneurship, Professor Mande has a long history with the academy, having previously served as its National Secretary. He is also a visiting scholar at the School of Media & Communication, Pan-Atlantic University in Lagos, and at various military institutions across Nigeria.

As president, Mande is expected to guide the academy’s mission of advancing management knowledge and research in Nigeria. The organization aims to foster collaboration among scholars, researchers, and practitioners to share best practices and promote professional development.
