Nigeria at 65: Tinubu Appeals for Unity and Collective Progres
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has urged Nigerians to embrace unity, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence as the country marks its 65th independence anniversary.
Speaking at the National Mosque, Abuja, during a special Jumaat prayer on Friday to commemorate the occasion, the President, represented by the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris said national progress could only be achieved if citizens work together despite differences.
“Differences will always exist,” Idris quoted the President as saying. “But Mr President’s message is one of hope, unity, and togetherness. All Nigerians must imbibe these values so that, collectively, we can achieve the progress and prosperity that he has promised since assuming office.”
