Kano Gov’t Investigates Alleged Diversion of N4bn Dala Inland Dry Port Funds
The Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission (PCACC) has launched a probe into allegations of diversion of over N4 billion earmarked for infrastructure development at the Dala Inland Dry Port project.
Confirming the development, the Chairman of PCACC, Saidu Yahya, disclosed that the investigation is at an advanced stage following petitions received from members of the public.

“Yes, we received petitions on the alleged diversion of more than N4 billion belonging to Kano State and meant for the Dala Inland Dry Port project,” Yahya stated.
According to him, several individuals connected to the case have already been invited for questioning. He revealed that one of the suspects was arrested, granted bail, and has provided useful information to investigators.
“Our findings also indicate that one of the parties involved has relocated to Yola, Adamawa State,” Yahya added.
The anti-graft chief assured that the matter would be prosecuted in court once the ongoing investigation is concluded, stressing that a prima facie case has already been established.
