Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) have neutralized nine Boko Haram fighters and recovering over ₦5 million ransom money during coordinated operations around Magumeri and Gajiram general areas of Borno State.
According to a statement by Lieutenant Colonel Sani Uba, Media Information Officer for the Joint Task Force North East, the operations followed credible intelligence reports on the movement of terrorists around Goni Dunari in Magumeri Local Government Area on 10 October 2025.

As the soldiers advanced, the terrorists attempted to flee towards Damjiyakiri village, abandoning their vehicles and scattering in multiple directions.
