FCT Police Clamp Down on Criminal Hideouts, Arrest 62 Suspects
The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has apprehended 62 suspects during coordinated operations targeting criminal hideouts across Abuja.
According to available information, the operation was conducted on October 24 at about 11:45 p.m. by operatives drawn from various divisional commands under Zone 7 of the FCT Police Command.

The divisions that took part in the operation included Gwagwalada, Bwari, Kubwa, Apo, Karmo, Life Camp, Maitama, Wuse, Mabushi, Nyanya, and Jikwoyi.
The exercise specifically focused on black spots, criminal enclaves, and uncompleted buildings reportedly being used as hideouts by hoodlums.
A statement from the Command indicated that the raids resulted in the arrest of 62 suspects who are currently being screened and interrogated at the respective divisional headquarters.
The Police further assured that all suspects found culpable after investigation will be charged to court in accordance with the law.
