Lagos Police Heighten Security on Third Mainland Bridge After Disruption Threats
The Lagos State Police Command has assured the public that adequate security measures have been deployed on the Third Mainland Bridge following circulating information about a planned disruption by youths in the Oworonshoki area.
The Command confirmed awareness of the circulating threats and stated that officers are fully deployed to ensure the safety of all road users and prevent any form of obstruction or breach of peace across the state.

“The Command wishes to assure the public that adequate security measures have been put in place to maintain law and order across the state,” said SP Abimbola Adebisi, the Police Public Relations Officer for the Lagos State Command.
The Police urged members of the public to go about their lawful activities without fear and to cooperate with security personnel. The Command remains committed to protecting lives, property, and ensuring the free flow of traffic across Lagos State.
