NSCDC Deploys 10,250 Personnel for Anambra Guber Poll, Warns Against Violence
As part of efforts to ensure a peaceful and credible governorship election in Anambra State scheduled for Saturday, November 8, 2025, the Commandant General (CG) of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Prof. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, has ordered the deployment of 10,250 personnel, including tactical operatives from the Corps’ National Headquarters.
Prof. Audi made this known while addressing State Commandants and Heads of Tactical Squads at the Corps’ headquarters in Abuja, noting that the deployment was in line with the agency’s commitment to collaborate effectively with the Nigeria Police and other security agencies under the Inter-agency Consultative Committee on Election Security (ICCES).
He explained that synergy among security agencies through proper coordination, cooperation, and collaboration would guarantee a violence-free election process.
