Gov. Uba Sani Commends Gen. Musa’s Patriotism, Service to Nigeria

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has lauded the former Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Gwabin Musa (rtd), for his exceptional service to Nigeria, describing his tenure as a period defined by courage, integrity, and strategic leadership.

The governor made the commendation during a courtesy visit to the retired military chief, where he personally congratulated him on his successful and meritorious service to the nation.

Governor Sani said General Musa served with “uncommon courage, professionalism, and integrity,” qualities that have earned him the admiration of Nigerians across all divides. He noted that Kaduna State remains immensely proud of the General’s outstanding contributions to national peace and stability.

“General Musa’s tenure as Defence Chief was marked by a deep sense of duty, strategic leadership, and unwavering commitment to the unity and security of our country,” Governor Sani stated.

The governor also expressed appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for appointing General Musa—an indigene of Kaduna State—to such a sensitive and exalted national position.

“On behalf of the government and people of Kaduna State, we extend profound gratitude to President Tinubu for finding one of our own worthy of such a critical assignment. This reflects Mr. President’s inclusive leadership and his confidence in the competence and patriotism of Kaduna’s finest sons and daughters,” he added.

Governor Sani prayed for continued wisdom, strength, and fulfilment for the retired Defence Chief as he transitions into another phase of national service.

He affirmed that Kaduna State would always hold General Musa in high esteem as a symbol of dedication, courage, and excellence in public service.
