Comptroller Alkali, he said, has prioritized dialogue and mutual understanding to facilitate legitimate trade, strengthen compliance, and add operational value across the port ecosystem.
The statement also highlighted that the Customs Area Controller ensured optimal deployment of officers to operational beats based on identified needs, thereby improving productivity, accountability, and overall efficiency.
Comptroller Alkali, while commending officers, importers, and other stakeholders for their cooperation and patriotism, described the achievement as a collective success made possible through teamwork and commitment to national development.
“This milestone is a testament to what we can achieve through effective teamwork and dedication to national development,” Alkali stated. “We shall continue to strengthen our systems and processes to sustain this momentum.”
