Dan Iya Ngeri Felicitates Emir of Ilorin on 30th Coronation Anniversary
The Dan Iya Ngeri of Ilorin Emirate and Hasken Lafiagi of Lafiagi Emirate has congratulated the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, on the occasion of his 30th coronation anniversary, describing the monarch’s reign as a remarkable era of peace, unity and cultural renewal.
In a goodwill message issued in Ilorin today, he hailed Maimartaba Sarkin Ilory for providing three decades of dignified, wise, and stabilising leadership to the Ilorin Emirate. He noted that the Emir’s fatherly guidance has continued to strengthen social harmony, deepen cultural identity, and promote spiritual consciousness among the people.

He said the Emir’s reign has been characterised by justice, compassion, and an consistent commitment to the welfare of his subjects, attributes that have reinforced Ilorin’s reputation as a beacon of peace and moral authority.
“The last thirty years have demonstrated His Royal Highness’s sincere dedication to the unity and progress of the Ilorin Emirate. His wisdom, integrity, and consistent advocacy for communal harmony remain a blessing to our people,” he stated.
He prayed for Almighty Allah to grant the Emir continued good health, long life, divine protection, and greater strength to lead the Emirate to further prosperity.
