Matawalle Visits Operation FANSAN YAMMA, Charges Troops on Resilience

The Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Bello Muhammad Matawalle, on Friday paid a courtesy visit to the Headquarters of the Joint Task Force (North West) Operation FANSAN YAMMA in continuation of the Federal Government’s support to ongoing military operations in the region.

The visit came shortly after the Minister observed the Juma’at prayer at the Theatre Command Mosque on 14 November 2025.

Receiving the Minister, the Theatre Commander, Major General Warrah Bello Idris, expressed gratitude for what he described as a morale-boosting engagement. He noted that the visit underscores the Federal Government’s commitment to strengthening the fight against banditry and other criminal activities threatening peace in the North West.
