Tinubu Appoints Ribadu to Lead FG’s Team for US-Nigeria Joint Security Working Group

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the membership of the Nigerian contingent to the US-Nigeria Joint Working Group, a new framework aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation in addressing Nigeria’s security challenges.

The establishment of the Joint Working Group follows agreements reached during a recent high-level visit to Washington, D.C., led by the National Security Adviser (NSA), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu. Ribadu will head the Nigerian side of the Working Group, supported by senior government officials across key security, foreign policy, and humanitarian sectors.
