20,000 Applicants Participate as NAF Begins 2025 Recruitment Aptitude Test
No fewer than 20,000 applicants on Saturday participated in the Nigerian Air Force’s (NAF) nationwide Zonal General Aptitude Test for the 2025 Basic Military Training Course (BMTC) 46 Recruitment Exercise, marking one of the most extensive enlistment screenings in recent years.
The aptitude test was conducted simultaneously across 15 zonal centres nationwide, including Sokoto, Minna, Kaduna, Kano, Bauchi, Maiduguri, Yola, Makurdi, Jos, Ilorin, Ipetu-Ijesa, Enugu, Benin, Port Harcourt, and Ikeja—reflecting the Service’s commitment to inclusiveness, transparency, and merit-based recruitment.

Speaking on the exercise, the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, said the recruitment process was guided by fairness, integrity, and strict adherence to established standards, stressing that personnel quality remains central to the operational effectiveness of the Nigerian Air Force.
He noted that the aptitude test represents a critical step in building a motivated and mission-ready force capable of supporting ongoing internal security operations and defending Nigeria’s territorial integrity.
The NAF reaffirmed its continued dedication to safeguarding lives and property in line with its constitutional mandate.
