CHRISTMAS: Kogi CP Felicitates with Christians, Promises Peaceful Celebration

The Commissioner of Police, Kogi State Police Command, CP Naziru Bello Kankarofi, psc, mni, has assured residents of the state of a peaceful and secure Christmas celebration, saying adequate security measures have been put in place to safeguard lives and property across the state.

In a Christmas goodwill message issued on Tuesday, the police boss felicitated with Christians in Kogi State and urged residents to embrace peace, unity and lawful conduct during the festive period.

According to him, the Command has intensified security operations before, during and after the Christmas celebrations through the deployment of sufficient police personnel, enhanced patrols, intelligence-led operations and visibility policing across strategic locations.

He disclosed that officers have been strategically positioned at worship centres, recreational facilities, major highways, markets and other public places to deter criminal activities and ensure public safety.
