Beneficiaries of the palliative distribution include religious leaders, community leaders, political leaders, youth and women groups, orphans, persons with special needs and other vulnerable members of society.
The distribution committee appealed for public understanding, noting that while the outreach covers all 11 local government areas, the large population of the state makes it impossible for every household to benefit directly. The committee stressed that priority was given to the most vulnerable and those selected across communities.
Professor Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami has maintained a long-standing tradition of supporting residents of Gombe State during Ramadan.
The Foundation disclosed that this year it provided ₦33.75 million for religious scholars. Last year, the Foundation supported religious scholars in Gombe State alone with ₦27 million, among other forms of assistance. The distribution targeted at religious scholars this year is being coordinated by Dr. Umar Garba Dokaji.
Beneficiaries have expressed appreciation for the gesture, describing it as timely and impactful amid economic challenges. Many offered prayers for Professor Pantami and the Foundation team, commending their consistency in supporting communities across the state.
