Tinubu Appoints 4 New Perm Secs to Strengthen Federal Civil Service
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of four new Permanent Secretaries to fill existing vacancies in the Federal Civil Service, reinforcing his administration’s commitment to professionalism, meritocracy, and effective public service delivery.
A statement issued by Eno Olotu, Director of Information and Public Relations at the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, identified the appointees as: Warrens Bekearedebo Augusta – Bayelsa State; Jones-Nebo Nkiruka Bella – Enugu State; Aminu Sani Yargaya – Kano State; and Shoretire Ayinda Kamil – Ogun State

The appointments followed a rigorous and transparent selection process, reflecting the administration’s dedication to rewarding competence, experience, and excellence in the Civil Service.
According to the statement, the new Permanent Secretaries are expected to leverage their expertise to enhance the efficiency of public service delivery and contribute to the advancement of the government’s development agenda across key sectors.
In her remarks, the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Didi Esther Walson-Jack, congratulated the appointees and commended President Tinubu for prioritising transparency, professionalism, and merit-based appointments in the civil service, describing the move as a positive step toward strengthening governance and institutional capacity in Nigeria.
The new Permanent Secretaries are now poised to play a pivotal role in supporting policy implementation and driving reforms across the Federal Civil Service.
