Senator Buba Donates 25 Buses to Bauchi APC for Grassroots Mobilisation Ahead of 2027
As political activities gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections, the Senator representing Bauchi South Senatorial District, Shehu Buba Umar, has donated 25 brand-new Volkswagen Sharon buses to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi State to strengthen grassroots mobilisation and enhance the party’s outreach.
The vehicles were formally handed over at the APC State Secretariat in Bauchi on Tuesday to the State Chairman, Alhaji Muhammad Hassan Tilde, for distribution across party structures.
Speaking during the ceremony on behalf of the senator, Hon. Aminu Mohammed Danmalaki said the buses would be deployed to support the party’s activities across the state’s 20 local government areas.
He explained that 20 of the buses would be allocated to local government chairmen, while two would be retained at the state headquarters and three assigned to zonal offices, bringing the total to 25 vehicles.
Danmalaki described the donation as a reflection of Senator Shehu Buba’s commitment to democratic development and his continued support for the APC.

He further highlighted the senator’s contributions to critical sectors such as health, agriculture, education, employment, and security, both within his constituency and across Bauchi State.
According to him, the senator’s grassroots orientation and responsiveness to the needs of the people position him as a strong political figure ahead of the 2027 governorship race.
Addressing concerns over internal party disagreements, Danmalaki noted that such challenges are common in democratic settings, especially during periods of political contestation, but expressed optimism that the APC in Bauchi would remain united.
He added that the vehicles would be instrumental in strengthening the party’s presence at the grassroots and mobilising support for APC candidates at all levels, including presidential, governorship, and legislative elections.
In his remarks, the Bauchi State APC Chairman, Alhaji Muhammad Hassan Tilde, commended Senator Shehu Buba for the gesture, describing it as a timely intervention that would boost the party’s mobilisation efforts.
Tilde assured that the vehicles would be judiciously utilised and called on party members to remain loyal and united in order to secure victory for the APC in the 2027 general elections.
