Kirikiri Customs, NDLEA Deepen Strategy Against Drug Trafficking in Lagos Ports
The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Kirikiri Lighter Terminal Area Command, and the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have strengthened their collaborative framework to curb drug trafficking activities along Nigeria’s maritime corridor.
The renewed partnership was reinforced during a courtesy visit by the newly appointed Commander of the NDLEA Tincan Strategic Command, Solomon Omotosho, to the Kirikiri Lighter Terminal (KLT) Command in Lagos.
According to a statement issued on Thursday, 26 March 2026, by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Chief Superintendent of Customs Victor Ogagbor, the engagement reflected a shared commitment by both agencies to deepen intelligence sharing and operational coordination in addressing narcotics smuggling through port channels.
