FRSC Honours Personnel for Ethical Conduct, Reaffirms Zero-Tolerance for Corruption
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has reinforced its commitment to ethical standards and operational excellence as the Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed, formally recognised and rewarded exemplary personnel for outstanding service.
At a brief but significant ceremony, commendation letters and cash rewards were presented to select officers and marshals drawn from operational commands nationwide. The honourees were acknowledged for consistently demonstrating discipline, accountability, and professionalism in the discharge of their duties.
Speaking during the event, Mohammed emphasised that the recognition was not for isolated acts but for sustained adherence to the Corps’ core values. He noted that the initiative is part of a structured institutional framework aimed at motivating personnel, strengthening public confidence, and reinforcing the FRSC’s zero-tolerance policy towards unethical conduct.

“Integrity remains the cornerstone of effective law enforcement and public safety administration,” the Corps Marshal stated, adding that the Corps will continue to identify and reward behaviours that enhance its institutional image.
He further underscored that thousands of FRSC personnel across the country carry out their responsibilities daily with honour, courage, and a strong sense of duty. According to him, the awards serve both as recognition and as a reminder that ethical conduct is expected and valued within the organisation.
Mohammed described the initiative as not only a reward mechanism but also a source of inspiration, urging personnel to remain steadfast in upholding the principles that define the Corps. He reaffirmed management’s commitment to providing an enabling environment, effective leadership, and appropriate incentives to sustain high standards of performance.
The gesture, he noted, aligns with the FRSC’s broader mandate of ensuring road safety while fostering a workforce anchored on discipline, transparency, and service to humanity.
The statement was signed by Felicia Kalu, Corps Commander and Corps Public Education Officer, at the FRSC Headquarters in Abuja.
