Gwamna Pledges Inclusive Leadership, Unity as Gombe APC Governorship Candidate
The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gombe State, Dr. Jamil Isyaku Gwamna, popularly known as Sardaunan Gombe, has reaffirmed his commitment to prioritising the interests of the state and promoting inclusive governance, unity, and sustainable development.
Speaking to party members, stakeholders, and residents of the state, Gwamna said his aspiration was driven by a deep sense of responsibility and dedication to the collective progress of Gombe State.
According to him, his “Gombe First” vision is aimed at placing the welfare and development of the people above personal or political interests.
“Gombe First is not just a slogan, it is a commitment to place the interests of Gombe people above all. It means Gombe first in development, unity, and opportunity for all,” he said.
The APC candidate assured citizens that his administration, if elected, would run an inclusive and people-oriented government that accommodates all segments of society regardless of political affiliation, gender, or social background.
He pledged to create a governance structure where every citizen would have a voice and a sense of belonging.
Gwamna also extended a hand of fellowship to other aspirants within the party, describing them as partners in the collective quest for the development of Gombe State rather than political rivals.

“We all share a common goal, the development of Gombe State. I extend my hand of partnership to all aspirants. Together, we are stronger,” he stated.
The APC flag bearer further commended the administration of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for what he described as significant achievements in governance and infrastructure development across the state.
He noted that his administration would consolidate on the existing foundation while accelerating progress in critical sectors such as education, healthcare, agriculture, infrastructure, human capital development, and youth empowerment.
Gwamna also pledged support for the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stressing that aligning Gombe State with the Federal Government’s economic and development policies would create more opportunities for residents and improve living standards.
He promised to provide a responsive administration that would listen to the people and deliver tangible results.
Calling for unity among residents, Gwamna urged citizens to support purposeful leadership capable of advancing the state beyond political divisions.
“This is our moment to choose unity over division, progress over politics, and leadership that truly works for the people,” he said.
He appealed to residents to join hands in building a stronger, more prosperous, and united Gombe State.
