Achi Unveils AGENTPR, Described as Africa’s Agent-Driven Media Intelligence Framework

Dr. Celestine Achi, an AI-powered public relations strategist, author and founder of Cihan Media Group, has unveiled AGENTPR™, a platform described as Africa’s first agent-driven media intelligence framework and PR intelligence MCP.

The platform was developed as a response to the growing shift in modern communications from traditional media monitoring to intelligent, AI-driven public relations decision support systems.

According to the developers, AGENTPR™ is designed to move beyond conventional media monitoring, which primarily focuses on tracking mentions and sentiment, to a more advanced intelligence-driven approach capable of interpreting narratives, identifying stakeholder risks and supporting executive decision-making.

Speaking during the unveiling, Dr. Achi said the communications landscape now requires organisations to understand not only what is being said about them, but also the implications, emotional tone and strategic risks behind public conversations.

“Media monitoring tells you what was said. PR intelligence tells you what it means, why it matters, who is driving it, what risk it carries, and what decision should follow,” he said.

“AGENTPR™ was built for this new era. The future of PR will not belong to those who track the most mentions, but to those who build the clearest context, strongest intelligence workflows, and fastest route from signal to decision.”

The platform introduces an agent-driven intelligence layer for public relations, reputation management, stakeholder analysis, media visibility, sentiment and emotion analysis, crisis signal detection and executive briefing systems.

Unlike conventional dashboards that rely heavily on mention counts and basic sentiment labels, AGENTPR™ is designed to support context-aware and culture-aware interpretation of media narratives and stakeholder behaviour.

The framework is expected to help communications professionals identify emerging reputational risks, detect weak crisis signals, understand emotional trends in public discourse and generate decision-ready intelligence for institutions and executives.

Dr. Achi explained that the project reflects his broader work in AI-powered public relations, Engineering of Trust™, and the development of practical AI systems for African communications, governance, media innovation and institutional reputation management.

According to him, the future of public relations measurement must evolve beyond visibility metrics alone.

“A brand can have high visibility and still face reputational vulnerability. A campaign can generate mentions without building trust. A crisis can begin as a weak signal long before it becomes a headline. That is why PR intelligence must now move from counting conversations to interpreting consequence,” he stated.

The platform is targeted at public relations professionals, corporate communications teams, government institutions, public affairs units, crisis management teams, reputation managers, PR agencies and organisations seeking deeper intelligence on media perception and stakeholder trust.

The AGENTPR™ platform is now operational and accessible online, while a video explainer demonstrating its practical application is expected to be released soon.

Dr. Celestine Achi is widely known for his work at the intersection of artificial intelligence, public relations, digital transformation, trust engineering and media innovation.

He is the author of AI-Powered PR: The Essential Guide for Communications Leaders to Master Artificial Intelligence and has led several AI, media, governance and communications transformation initiatives across Africa.
