VIDEO: Heaps of Gallons, Drums for Stealing Nigeria’s Fuel Abandoned in Cameroun, Chad after Subsidy Removal
Thousands of drums and gallons of various litres hitherto used for stealing Nigeria’s fuel are now laying fallow in Kusuri, Garoua, Gidar and Marwa, among other towns in Cameroun and Chad.
PRNigeria gathered that the gallons and drums are no longer used by smugglers as reservoirs and warehouses for crude oil stolen, and exported to Nigeria’s neighbouring countries.

The development, according to a two-minute video obtained by PRNigeria, started over a month ago, after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu removed and ended the subsidy regime, in Nigeria.
In the video, thousands of abandoned drums and gallons could be seen on a vast expanse of land in Kusuri, a town in Cameroun.
In the narration of the video was the voice of a man who described the situation in Hausa, saying that just like in Kusuri, there are thousands of gallons and drums which oil thieves from Nigeria have abandoned in Garoua, Marwa and Gidar.
“All these gallons and drums are now useless. This particular field in Kusuri where these gallons and drums are kept is over 100 hectares. Some of the drums and gallons, as you can see, are kept under built shades. We are with Tinubu and NO to subsidy,” the narrator said.
