Her commitment to academic advancement is further evidenced by her ongoing pursuit of a Ph.D. degree at the University of Lagos.

Notably, she has held the distinguished position of Chairman of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, Lagos State Chapter, setting new standards and fostering growth within the industry. Under her leadership, the chapter flourished, becoming a trailblazer and trendsetter for other chapters to emulate.

A creative force and strategic mastermind, Nkechi’s abilities extend beyond traditional Public Relations. Her dynamic leadership skills have been instrumental in transforming issues into opportunities, particularly evident during her tenure as Head of Corporate Affairs at prominent banks, NEXIM and Equitorial Trust Bank. Her visionary outlook has paved the way for innovative strategies, crisis management expertise, and effective governance.

Nkechi Ali-Balogun’s exceptional contributions have garnered widespread recognition and acclaim. Her legacy is engraved in prestigious awards such as the PR Golden Eagle Award for Most Outstanding Public Relations Practitioner, an accolade she achieved consecutively in 2010 and 2011. Nkechi Ali-Balogun’s enduring legacy continues to evolve through her commitment to growth, mentorship, and education. As the founder and convener of the NECCI Public Relations Roundtable, an annual think-tank event, she remains steadfast in fostering global competence through strategic communication.
