EFCC Arrests 5 Suspected Internet Fraudsters in Benue
In a recent operation, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Makurdi Zonal Command apprehended five individuals suspected of engaging in internet fraud within the Makurdi metropolis of Benue State.

The arrest, conducted on Thursday, November 23, 2023, resulted from credible intelligence pointing to their alleged involvement in various internet-related offenses. The apprehended individuals are identified as Stanley Tochukwu, Desmond Tochukwu, Dennis Emeka, George Ebuka, and Arinze Odo.
During the operation, the EFCC recovered several items from the suspects, including phones, a power bank, ATM cards, and a sum of cash.
As investigations into the case progress, the suspects will face legal charges in court, reflecting the EFCC’s commitment to addressing cybercrimes and internet-related offenses.
