In her farewell address, she said: “Today marks a significant moment in my life as I bid farewell to the dynamic and dedicated team of the Passport and other Travel Documents Directorate and the entire staff of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS). It has been an incredible journey leading this esteemed Directorate, and as I retire, I am filled with gratitude and pride for the shared accomplishment we have achieved.”

Mrs. Hassan equally expressed her profound gratitude to the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji Ojo, and her boss, the Comptroller General of Immigration Service, (CGIS), Mrs Caroline WuraOla Adepoju, for their love and support for her, as well as her colleagues across various Directorates for the success she recorded in her career.
