Dr. Neliaku spoke on the multifaceted nature of PR, extending beyond traditional boundaries to encompass all forms of communication, including singing. “Singing, much like any form of communication, is an integral part of public relations. It’s about conveying a message, evoking emotions, and fostering connections,” he explained.
The NIPR President further emphasised the centrality of reputation, which he described as the “core asset of every human being.”
He argued that managing one’s reputation is not merely a management function but a leadership one, critical to personal and professional advancement.
“As we embark on this week-long celebration and introspection of our profession, let us remember that public relations is the key to unlocking potential, bridging gaps, and building a legacy. Without a carefully managed reputation, one cannot hope to achieve lasting success,” Dr. Neliaku stated.
