The visit highlighted the government’s strategy to enhance fiscal management, promote socioeconomic stability, and adopt digitization. The Minister emphasized the importance of robust and efficient systems managing pension funds, aligning with the government’s emphasis on transparency and accountability.

The visit follows the recent pension increment, which marks a historic initiative in Nigerian pension management, with deliberate and timely increments and a commitment to the timely payment of pension arrears and entitlements. This demonstrates the government’s commitment to the well-being of pensioners, even amid essential economic reforms.

The Minister’s visit underscores the Ministry’s continuous drive to bolster economic resilience and enhance the contribution of all governance sectors to Nigeria’s growth and development.

In a statement, the Director of Information and Public Relations, Mohammed Manga, said the visit reinforces the government’s dedication to improving the lives of pensioners and promoting socioeconomic stability.
