FG to Build 3 New Ports, Taxi Terminals in FCT
Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has announced plans to construct three additional Ports and Taxi Terminals in the nation’s capital, within the next eight months.
This initiative aims to enhance public transportation infrastructure and improve the overall commuting experience.
Wike revealed this on Thursday at a Ministerial Sectorial Update in Abuja.

The event provided a platform for citizens to engage directly with their leaders, seek accountability for ongoing policies and programs, and gain a comprehensive understanding of the government’s progress and plans ahead of the May 29th anniversary celebration.
The FCT minister also highlighted some of his notable achievements, including enhanced road security, increased sensitization campaigns, deployment of special bikes, and provision of advanced tools for security personnel.
The event was attended by various government officials, including the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Minister of Defense, Minister of Budget and Planning, and others.
