NAHCON, Saudi Authorities Plant 20 Trees, 2,000 Flowers in Muna
The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) in partnership with the Makkah Municipality and relevant stakeholders have launched a tree planting campaign.
The unique exercise is aimed at cooling the environment in and around the vicinity of the Holy Site of Muna.

This was made known by the Chairman of NAHCON Malam Jalal Ahmad Arabi OON, fwc who was heavily represented by Dr. Aliyu Tanko, Makkah Coordinator.
With the projection of very high temperature, this Hajj, initiative of planting trees is quite handy. The exercise was conducted under the umbrella of Pioneers Cooperative Agricultural Society with a theme/phrase: “Let Us Plant It.”
The target is to plant twenty (20) trees and two thousand (2,000) flowers at the intersection of the Main Entrance of Muna Holy Site (while coming from Makkah City) and Muzdalifah Way.
