El-Rufai Expresses Concerns Over Alleged Attempts to Tarnish His Image
Former Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has voiced concerns over what he believes to be an orchestrated attempt to damage his reputation.
Speaking during an interview with Arise TV on Monday, El-Rufai alleged that National Security Adviser (NSA) Nuhu Ribadu and Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani were working together to discredit him, with support from the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).

He further claimed that some of his former aides were being pressured to speak against him.
“There have been efforts to convince some of my former officials to implicate me in certain matters, with promises that their issues will be resolved if they do,” he said.
Addressing his relationship with Ribadu and Sani, El-Rufai noted that while they were once close, things have changed.
“Uba Sani and Nuhu Ribadu were my friends in the past, but that is no longer the case,” he remarked.
The former governor’s comments come amid ongoing political conversations and speculations about future leadership aspirations.
