KWSA: Olanrewaju Oba Emerges PDP  Consensus Candidate

KWSA: Olanrewaju Oba Emerges PDP  Consensus Candidate 
A Youth Empowerment Advocate, Alhaji Abdulrahman Olanrewaju Oba, has emerged the consensus candidate for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) ticket for Ilorin North/West constituency for the Kwara State House of Assembly (KWSA).
Speaking about his emergence, Olanrewaju Oba expressed gratitudes to his supporters and campaigners.
He urged them to sustain the tempo to ensure that the party wins the all electoral positions from the state.
He said: “I am really grateful for the support given to me by stakeholders in Kwara state to ensure my emergence as the House of Assembly candidate. Together we will make things better and bring the constituency to an enviable height”.
On his plans, Hon. Olanrewaju Oba said he would make Education and Job creation his priority.
“I will make education a priority as a House of Assembly member. My focal plan is to ensure that Ilorin youths are given the opportunity they need to explore their dreams, through scholarships and series of vocational training for empowerment in the constituency”.
Honourable Olanrewaju Oba said he believes that education remains the most powerful tool for development.
“I believe that education remains a good tool for development, that is the way to make our children and youth competitive in the current world and society”.
He also commended the leadership of Senate President Abubakar Bukola Saraki as a powerhouse in Nigeria.
“I remain a loyal member of the Saraki Political family under the leadership of Dr Bukola Saraki, ” he said.
The aspirant has been organizing top-notch classes for Indigenes and residents of the state before his decision to go into politics.
Hon. Olanrewaju Oba also assured his constituents that he will ensure that more job opportunities are created while promising to use his office as a point to create goodwill for infrastructural advancement.
Many Indigenes and residents of Kwara state praised the emergence of Hon Olanrewaju Oba while showing optimism towards his candidature.
Oba is a Real Estate magnate and is also into Oil and gas. He has many establishments and foundations which includes The Olanrewaju Oba Youth forum and Olanrewaju Oba Foundation.
He is also a staunch supporter of the Senate President, Bukola Saraki when he recently organized a mass march in support of his aspiration for Nigerian President under the People’s Democratic Party.
Oba who has done so many exceptional projects in Kwara state before his emergence got the support of all delegates and party stalwarts to secure the much-coveted ticket.
