CMC Connect Launches Crisis-X, Declares March as Annual Crisis Management Advocacy Month

CMC Connect LLP, Nigeria’s foremost Public Relations and Communications firm, has unveiled *Crisis-X*, a pioneering initiative aimed at empowering organizations with the strategies and tools necessary for effective crisis management. The launch event, held at the firm’s corporate headquarters in Lagos, also marked the declaration of March as *Crisis Management Advocacy Month*, a global annual campaign to promote awareness about the importance of crisis preparedness and response.

The initiative, *Crisis-X*, is a comprehensive platform that provides expert insights, training, and strategic guidance to help businesses anticipate, manage, and recover from crises. It focuses on critical areas such as risk assessment, crisis communication, reputation management, and post-crisis recovery. The launch underscores CMC Connect LLP’s 33-year legacy as a leader in perception management and its commitment to delivering innovative solutions.

During the event, Raheem Olabode, Managing Partner of CMC Connect LLP, highlighted the firm’s dedication to excellence and innovation. “We are thrilled to unveil *Crisis-X*, a testament to our commitment to equipping organizations with the expertise needed to navigate crises effectively. This initiative reinforces our role as industry leaders in providing cutting-edge, sustainable solutions that drive impact,” he said.

Yomi Badejo-Okusanya, Lead Partner of CMC Connect LLP, delivered a keynote presentation on *Crisis-X*, outlining its strategic framework and emphasizing the importance of proactive crisis management in today’s fast-paced business environment. “In an era where a single incident can escalate within minutes and significantly impact public perception, organizations must be prepared. *Crisis-X* is our answer to this growing need, equipping businesses with the tools, expertise, and strategies necessary to safeguard their reputation,” he stated.

In addition to the launch of *Crisis-X*, CMC Connect LLP announced the establishment of *Crisis Management Advocacy Month*, to be observed annually in March. This initiative aims to drive awareness of the critical need for proactive crisis planning and preparedness across businesses and organizations. Throughout the month, industry experts, business leaders, and public sector stakeholders will engage in a series of activities to foster dialogue on emerging trends in crisis management.
