In Kaduna, Army Chief Assesses Troops’ Training for Operational Efficiency
The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede, has assessed the ongoing troops’ training at Nigerian Army Training Centre in Kachia, Kaduna State.
During his working visit, General Oluyede emphasized the importance of troops’ training, stating, “the Nigerian Army under my watch places high premium on troops’ training, describing it as a panacea for operational effectiveness and optimization.”
He urged the troops to remain focused and dedicated, giving their best during the training.

“You should be prepared to apply your newly acquired skills to make a difference in the field,” he added.
General Oluyede also commended the training team for their efficiency and pledged more support to the training centre.
The COAS emphasized the need for discipline and professionalism, saying, “You must remain disciplined and professional to justify the huge investment in your training.”
This visit demonstrates the Nigerian Army’s commitment to enhancing operational efficiency through effective training.
The Director of Army Public Relations, Major General ONYEMA NWACHUKWU, confirmed the visit in a statement, highlighting the COAS’s emphasis on troops’ training as a critical component of the Nigerian Army’s operational effectiveness.
