Meanwhile, in a more uplifting development, Zagazola reports that a 30-year-old pastor of the ECWA Church, Samson Ndah Ali, who was kidnapped on April 8 in Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State, regained his freedom in the morning of April 10. Pastor Ali had been abducted by unknown gunmen who reportedly demanded a ransom of N100 million for his release.
His safe return sparked joy and thanksgiving in Mararaban Abros, where his family, church members, and neighbours gathered in celebration. Children released balloons and women sang hymns as the community rejoiced. Security sources confirmed that he is in good health and resting at home, though it remains unclear whether a ransom was paid.
However, just hours after his return, fresh reports emerged of another attack in Zamfara State. At about 2:30 a.m. on April 10, three individuals were kidnapped by armed bandits in the Marere Hausawa area on the outskirts of Damba in Gusau LGA. According to intelligence sources, the victims were taken to an unknown location.
Troops of Operation FANSAN YANMA have intensified operations in both Kaduna and Zamfara States to track down the perpetrators and rescue the abducted individuals.
