Abdulkadir assured that accommodation and catering arrangements have already been secured for the pilgrims in Saudi Arabia. He also stated that preparations are in full swing, with vaccines scheduled for distribution on April 28, uniforms on April 30, and bags on May 1.

He further revealed that pilgrims who paid more than the approved Hajj fare of N8.4 million will receive refunds upon their return from Saudi Arabia.

“The Board’s preparations for the 2025 Hajj are nearly complete, and visas have been processed for all 2,174 intending pilgrims,” Abdulkadir added.

During the event, Justice Abdul-Lateef Kamaldeen, Grand Khadi of the Kwara State Sharia Court of Appeal, delivered a lecture on the significance of Hajj rituals. He urged the pilgrims to perform the pilgrimage with reverence, patience, and a deep sense of devotion to Allah.

The sensitization programme also saw the participation of key stakeholders, including former Executive Secretary of the Board, Alhaji Mohammed Tunde-Jimoh.
