How Anambra Police Foiled Kidnap Attempt, Rescued 3 Victims – Spokesperson
Operatives of the Anambra State Police Command on Saturday evening foiled a kidnap attempt in the Neni community, Anaocha Local Government Area, successfully rescuing three victims, including a couple.
The suspected kidnappers had trailed and ambushed the victims at Okacha Junction, forcing them into another vehicle as they attempted to whisk them away. However, the swift response of the police thwarted their plans.
According to an eyewitness, “The hoodlums suddenly double-crossed the victims’ vehicles, forced them into another car, and were driving off when the police arrived. After a hot chase, the kidnappers abandoned the victims and escaped in another vehicle. It felt like a scene from an action movie.”
