FCT Police Raid Criminals’ Hideouts, Arrest 56 Suspects
Security operatives have arrested 56 suspects during coordinated night raids on suspected criminal hideouts across various parts of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
Sources familiar with the operation revealed that the raids were carried out late Wednesday night by personnel from the Karmo, Kabusa, Apo, Nyanya, Karshi, and Kubwa Divisions.

The exercise, which began at about 11:40 p.m., focused on black spots, uncompleted buildings, and other areas notorious for criminal activities.
During the operations, security personnel recovered a dagger and several quantities of dried leaves believed to be Indian hemp.
The arrested suspects are currently undergoing screening and interrogation at their respective divisional offices. Authorities confirmed that those found guilty after investigations will be charged to court.
The FCT Police Command reiterated its commitment to sustaining efforts aimed at flushing out criminal elements and ensuring the safety and security of residents across the territory.
